My Corsa's insured with "ecarinsurance".
When my corsa was broken, I insured myself on a peugeot 106, when the corsa was back I cancelled the pug 106's policy and they said they were sending a cheque out with the remaining balance (£280).
Which i thought was good, as I could use that money for the remaining balance left on the corsa (£280).
So the policy has been deducted of £280 and it looks like they've sent a cheque out. I've still got no cheque.
I added the corsa back on the policy (the account still had a positive balance ), so all is well.... So i thought.
I havn't checked my emails for a while, and noticed i've got one off ecarinsurance, saying the corsa isn't insured as there wasn't enough funds in the account.
Without knowing, i've been driving my corsa to work and back for a week with no insurance :|
I've got work tomorrow, and their helpdesk is only open 9-5 monday-friday!
I can't drive to work as i've got no insurance, and can't afford to get banned!
And i've not got the money to update the insurance for £280.
"Policy Vehicles - P910GEY - Peugeot 106 XLD (21/11/2007 16:30:00 to 22/07/2008 11:29:00)
S507JKX - Vauxhall Corsa Sport 16V (22/07/2007 11:30:00 to 21/11/2007 16:30:00) "
Policy history:
1: Creation 22/07/2007 11:16:02 22/07/2007 11:30:00
2: Payment (Full) 22/07/2007 11:16:02
3: NCD Confirmation 24/07/2007 15:46:12
4: Mid-Term Adjustment 21/11/2007 12:55:57 21/11/2007 16:30:00
Mid term adjustment was adding the pug and cancelling the corsa.
The day I got the Corsa back, i cancelled the pug and put the corsa back on. (The account was still in credit) There's nothing in the history saying that though!
What can I do now? I can't speak to anybody from the insurers untill monday.
Thanks for any help....
I'm a bit confused about this
