It says low running costs and energy efficient..

prolly in the region of 12p per hour.

I would personally throw it out as there convection heaters and just throw around warm air rather than radiating the air.

(i.e using a fan in the summer doesnt really keep you cool, an air conditioner will cool the air).

That argument makes no sense?! Convection heaters do work cos they add energy in the form of heat into a room. Air conditioners work in reverse by removing heat from a room and either chucking it outside or using a condensor, whereas fans just move around the hot air without removing any of the heat energy.
