Leave my ASR on the majority of the time in my vrs, quite good and only turn it off for when I don't want the power to be cut, ie a bit of spirited driving.
Th eone place it fails and i now turn it off is every day on the way home from work.
There is a filter lane that takes ages to get through so i go straight on and do a u turn, the traction control goes mental because i'm going fairly fast and turning tight.
My experience of vag esp though is it doesn't come on unless you are driving like an idiot/been caught out with for instance a puddle on a bend.
