I used to goto Esporta and David Lloyd but left. I fancy getting really in shape again and looking into the idea of having a home gym. I play football/train with the club so my cardio stuff is ok.
What should I buy? Thinking a nice bench, weights and an excercise bike for a little more cardio. I'd put it in my office which isn't huge so I can't have a load of stuff! Will have to be free weights with a bench really, no machines. Any links would be

Get a power cage, that way you can do bench press/squats etc safely as they have safety bars so if you drop the weight for any reason they catch it before you kill yourself. Safe way to do it without a spotter.
Make sure you get a good bench to, not some argos one which will buckle with more than 100kg of weight on it!

I train at home, and I love it. I have a multigym from argos, which I use for machine bench, pec dec, shoulder pulldowns and legs. Then I also have a seperate set of dumbells and a barbell which I use for bicep curls, dumbell flies, etc.
I also have a roman chair for abs.
Good enough setup for me,quite cheap and I LOVE working at home

Cheers Seen a Gold's bike which looks pretty good. Looking at the Golds bench too which looks quality and study, will get some decent weights too. TBH I don't really have the space for a cage

We're planning on turning our store into a gym once we've had the garage built
I want a treadmill, bike, rowing machine and some weight things (although I don't really know what to do with them)
I want more cardio stuff
