Z20LETS??, is it just the way the intake pipe goes or is one an earlier engine than the other, or what??

Top one is standard intake route, lower one is alternative aftermarket setup.

second one more than likely has an aftermarket intercooler set up

no because even in the corsa they can run the standard intake system

is that standard intake considered restrictive at all? looks a pretty naff design?

Deano i don't think its to do with being in a corsa as i have seen a blue Corsa c with standard intake (which i now know:lol, iirc didn't his dad have a blue Astra Z20LET as well.

2nd one is a vectra 2.2 airbox
gives the air a more direct route to the turbo

yes but thers no air box on it, looks to me just like new hose's and moved the afm

go and look at a 2.2 engine and get back to me

i know there isnt an airbox, but its a 2.2 set up, which will have had a 2.2 airbox on it to start with

yes the intake is at the front on a 2.2 i no

but they are defo after market hoses to the turbo intake
just lloks like the have removed the crosover pipe and moved the alm to make the rote to the turbo easyer
