ive driven my mates vectra quite a bit, his has got full leathers, heted seats, all round parkin sensors an stuff an is prety nippy for the size of the car and havin the arm rest jus makes it feel realy comfy to drive lol

Lol ano people think an arm rest is a stupid thing to pick a car on but when you do about 15 miles a day average it is nice to have a bit comfort and something to lean your arm on!! True?

lol true, it is a nice car to drive tho an can pick them up at quite a decent price

15 miles a day doesnt warrant getting a derv, I got mine because im doing avg 80 miles a day!! You would get a better petrol car for your money.

I really am considering buying a Golf now after reading that I'm lucky to see 400 miles to £50 in the pug 70 miles has just killed 1/4 of a tank and never got past 80

I can claim back some mileage back through work but it means using my car rather than the company vans.

6k does seem an awful lot for a 90k car though!! I paid 9.5k for my pug with 7 miles on the clock, 3 years warranty etc.

Not really its good for 90k many times over. Try achieving that in a french turd mobile. Honestly id take a 5yr old 90k VW over a 7mile pug any day of the week. I knows what I likes! Anyway 9.5k is like 3600 more, I was just after a cheapish punt for 18 months to tide me over & I know I wouldnt go wrong with a VW.

I know my car is a piece of shit But it was bought to do 90 miles a day for the next few years. If it's still running problem free after 3 years i'll keep it for a bit longer.

Golfs do hold value very well. Was looking at them along with Audi A3s.
