Not sure if much people look in geek day so posting it here
Went into the orange shop last night to see about an upgrade. Not due for an upgrade cause my contract doesnt end until March
Got told I would be £50 to upgrade, and al extra £30 because I wanted the Sony Ericsson K850i and if I traded in my current phone (K800i) I would get £150 credited to my account. And the contract still ends in march.
So I have earned £70 towards my bills (£35 a month) and got a new K850i which will be mine in march
Worth doing imo!

If they've done a proper upgrade then the contract is extended by 12 or 18 months (whatever they're scamming people for now) from the day you upgrade.

18 month contract im no and it still finishes in March next year. If i wanted to get out of paying the £50 to upgrade I wouldve just taken out a new contract and been stuck with them for another 18months but I didnt
