Bit of help if you please.

Im currently doing my coursework, it is meant to be produced in a report stylee document.
We are under instruction that we are to 'number the paragraphs as you would do in a report'

Does that litterally mean

1. paragrah of text
2. paragrah of text
3 .and so on.....

Seems daft to me.

Any help much appreciated

When I did my dissertation I numbered my sections rather than each individual pargraph

This is literally a 1200 word essay.

It doesnt tend to have points to it, it more flows along.

Hence why im confused.

I say essay, thats how i perceive (sp) it. Its meant to be a report

Whats in on? Anything I've done is always point after point, you might want to revise it to write one point after another. Can still refer back to other ones, but that seems to be what they're after.

Currently got 1,125 words of total bollocks

Oh and the whole report has to be based on information we can retrieve from doing searches on 4 Law databases logging every search we do (links, search words, times )
2 of which are admitted to be shit all help

Pretty much, give it a number and a title.

So....

1.1.6 Economic Policy 3

Underlined or whatever with the relevant paragraphs underneath. Then you can do a contents page with all the main points identified and its easy to find what you want

if its report style you have to structer the essay as you would carry out the work, i.e.

para 1: how you plan to do the work

para 2: where you plan to use for sources of info etc
