Got caught with a defective tyre and exhaust ( think the exhaust is argueable since they just said oh thats to big take it off ) without hearing it running etc

So what will the outcome be?

I think 3 points and 120quid fine

You passed an MoT with the Exhaust? Take it to an MoT Station.

as i said on NOS rob

3points for the tyre, admit to it

and tell them to piss off when they start on about the exhaust,

not like they can go back an test it anyway is it?

Negative, It was back in June when i had my saxo vtr runabout, Sold it within the 28 day advisory note period to get the exhaust checked out and tyre? lol

So my fault really =/

if they didnt test the tyre, they have no evidence

they cant sentence you without evidence wether it be from the fiscal or the coppers,

point is you can argue the case with the fiscal, but if the cops havent tested the tyre are written down the readings then they're pooped,

i caught them out with that before,

better off having a solicitor look at the coppers statment though

They didnt test the tyre? They both looked at it and said ''thats illegal get it checked'' but i dont want to argue it incase they give me a harsher penality. Im going to see craig wood on friday anyway so will see what says!

Is it worth getting a solicitor? should i just appear in court on my own and argue it myself?. Or is that a bad idea lol

bad idea, the court has respect for solicitors, they wont respect you for standing up arguing with a policeman and you'll end up harrassed all the time

i did it before, and i ended up stopped 9times in 1week, it really isnt worth it
