A lad on my teams girlfriend came over this morning to ask if he had come in yet he came in looking a bit hungover about 10 minutes later, he said he was a bit late as he went for a MacDonalds breakfast first. He turned his pc on couldn't manage to log in then got up and staggered down the office all over the place. He was gone 30 minutes when people were asking where he was. I was asked to go to the toilets to see if he was in there. All cubicles were occupied so I left and went to check the coffee lounge. One lad went to see his girlfriend and she said hes probably gone to the pub  He'd left his wallet and phone though. I was told to check the toilets again, I hadn't called out as it didn't feel right with all taken! This time only one cubicle was in use so I called out, no answer. Then an IT guy had heard him snoring in there so someone I work with climbed over and got him out. The IT guy told someone higher up who also told someone higher up. His ID card was taken and hes being suspended. His girlfriend came back over and said she was sick of him, I'm not sure if she meant just this weekend or if hes like this all the time. I've worked with him for 6 months and hes never done anything like this before. Turns out hes an alcoholic.
He was a temp and had just been given a year contract too. Kind of feel sorry for him and maybe if I'd found him I could have told him to go before anyone else found him

 asleep in bogs, classic. I went into old job in some right states, got a few warnings for it etc
Never fell asleep in bogs though Suprised I didn't get sacked for that tbh, first two years went out every single wednesday and thursday. Then calmed down then moved out with mate and went pretty mad again rolling in at 10 like twice a week
Some other lad was on the sick with alcoholism for 18 months  got a pay off and everything 
Don't feel bad marc it;s his own fault tbf.

where you work marc? a few of my mates do this regulary at Norwich union and have never been in trouble
