My engine is goosed and i need a new one asap due to doing a fair few miles a day to commute to work. I would post in classifieds but i was hoping to get more attention here.
Have cash waiting. if its a redtop engine i would also need gearbox and brakes. If anybody has one for sale please let me know. Can collect via trailer. Sorry for the crappy post, i'm on my phone. If you've just overheated it why dont you just strip it down and fix it.. Dont see why so many people swap engines for things that arent hard fixes..

It's been stripped down tomorrow. But if it's completely screwed then i need to source an engine in the mean time.

Exactly... Thing is if you were putting a new engine in you'd be mad not to change the belt and pump plus other bits and bobs.. Just a really lazy, expensive way to fix a relatively simple problem..

fix it , head might be worped abit it only needs a skim unless cracked , shame ur not in the midlands because i had my x16xe fully reconed , 16 new valves and valve guides new stem seals , skimmed and pressure tested £200 i could get u it done for but this was all done because the cambelt snaped and bent valves
