Why don't we arrange our own?

Well, you're not insured, you're not legally responsible for anything that goes wrong. You're not able to deal with complaints about members of the site who either drive inappropriately or misbehave while they're out, you're not in correnspondence with a number of local establishments to ensure meets are conducted in accordance with their wishes and most importantly -

You are overlooking a large amount of excellent work which is already going on.

Please do this officially.
