I have lowered my car 60 mm havent got any pics to post sory, but iv got a gap between my wheel and arch, im buying some new alloys, if i got 16 inch alloys or 17 inch would the alloys fill the arch, or would the gap stil be there and just be higher, dont really know these things.

ive gone 60mm on 15's and its in the archs? are you sure its 60mm.when did you lower it? have you let it settle?

be honest i dont know wether it is 60 mm i ordered them from motorworld so it should be, i fitted them last weekend, so it prob has gone down, there isnt a massive gap, so would bigger alloys fill the gap?

yes bigger alloys should fill the gap.

depends on wheel and tyre choice to be honest.

Wouldn't go 17's on a fester though. 16's at the most.

i was thinking either 17s with 40 tyres or 16 inch with 45's.

40's and you;ll feel every stone in the road.

Go 16's with 45's.

got 17's and 40 profile on mine, ride is so much harsher and bumpier than when it had 16's and 45's on. so much so that i don't like the drive, just the looks.

yeah it is the mk6. i had a pic of a mk5 zetec s with st150 alloys on, i'll try and find it for you
