depends how you treat it, just like any other car.

if you thrash the bollocks out of it of course it's going to be unreliable, but if you just drive it as you would your corsa, there is less of a chance things going wrong.

I have always wanted one. Everyone i speak to just says to expect to break down lots. Its not runnin silly boost. It has Samcos and a big Pace intercooler and a -31 actuator. Full 3" stainless system and a big cone filter. I so wish i could afford to run a second car as it is really clean

Personally i wouldnt ruin it buy running it everyday

your pay say 4k for it, use it for a year everyday and it will be worth 1.5k

if you bought it, and looked after it the same it would be worth say 5k next year

Had 3 RS's and a cossie

1st was a standard series 2 90spec in mercury grey, never had a problem until it was nicked, stripped and burned out

Second was a white turbo cab that dumped all its oil and the engine blew up

Third was a FRST with stage 4 power conversion 200+bhp spent more time in the garage being repaired than it did on the road. Ended up swopping that and cash for the cossie

I have been underneath it. Its very clean. Had no weldin on it. The only thing that has been replaced is the battery tray as that started to go. Bodywork wise it seemed sound. The rear arches, The roof rails and round the sunroof even when opened were fine. It is spotless round the filler neck. The only sign of rust i could find was slight bubbling around the drivers side door lock. It is cheap i will admit. Its kinda mates rates to make it a bit cheaper and he had spare parts which he is gonna keep to sell to make some more money
