Bear in mind that hes approx 5` 7

Hes already taking 3 protein shakes a day and on the creatine tablets. He pretty much eats nothing but chicken too

plus if he ddoesnt train in the morning, this will do nothing for him..

Why won't it? Protein is not only beneficial directly before or after training. A constant supply on protein is required to stimulate growth and repair throughout the day and whilst sleeping.

Personally, I usually have some form of protein in the mornings (whey or egg whites) even though I train at 5PM. 12 eggs is a bit excessive though

yes, but that quantity of protine first thing in the morning will go to waste, ideally you need to build your carbs up for the day ahead....
