I'm never had to top up on oil before but checked the oil on the pug this morning and was a 1/4 left I only checked it last weekend and don't really trash it. Probably done 500ish miles since i last checked.

No oil on the drive so don't think it's leaking.

WEIRD!

Shouldn't be using oil with that mileage, even though it is French.

Were you parked on a hill?

Originally it was a cold engine parked on a hill and 3/4 full. So warmed the engine and parked it on the flat. Decided it was even lower

Put some oil in now, proper Total 10 40 stuff off pug. If it does it again it's going back

No Kathryn! I always check the levels. It was my abusive driving that fucked up my other cars tbh Drive sensible now..

Can overfilling damage the engine Adam?

I'll give it another check in the morning, just to see where we are. Won't get around to it until next weekend then due to the dark nights and my long working days.

dont OVERFILL

Oil gets airated (bubbles in it) from getting pounded by the crank... bubbles lead to oil stavation... oil starvations leads to fecked big ends

Also you'll prob get it sucked up standard beather system and into the TB and then into the combustion... mmmm, smoke screen
