I work in a call centre, my manager just pulled one of my calls back to listen to, it was a call from a Branch into us and as id put him on hold to deal with his request, the music plays in the background, and every now and again a woman speaks 'Please hold the line' every 10secs after which the member of staff replies 'Please hold my Dick' thinking that he is on hold and no-one can hear him
My manager will be giving him some feedback tomorow.

i work in a call centre aswell and its very ammusing when you say to the custimer that you are going to put them on hold but then you put them on mute, some of the stuff they say when they think they are on hold is amazing lol

I've done one once when the music was playing ... I was singing along like a twat, and the woman picked up the phone and said 'I can hear you' lol!

I think it's fantastic some of the things that are said too We are an outbound call centre, and one of the newer guys was sitting next to me, and he got an answer machine, but instead of ending his call, he started mouthing off about our Team Manager He was pulled in to listen to the call and it went something like "We are sorry, there is no-one to take the.... Who the fuck does she think she is? She swaggers around like she is something but she is a fat fucking rat!!" Needless to say he was escorted out that day

call centers are horrible ive worked at 118for a year only good think is im 17 working part time earning 7odd quid, cant afford not to be working ther!! some calls we have are v funny tho
