I got told at college by my tutors not to buy that kinda stuff.
Theres a Dynamics one or something like that in Halfords, its like 150peice for £40-50 and apparently there crap.
im not looking for great stuff, its not going to be a profession, just so i have my own kit when it comes to doing stuff on the car,

i have very nearly 2 full boxs of snap on, bluepoint and euro tools.
i really regret spending the money on them tbh. far enough things like the rachet srewdriver are totally unbeatable.
spanners etc imo ud be better just going for draper expert or halfords or a cheaper brand with the same warranty. air tools are more or less like for like with sealey etc with the odd exception, ie impact gun and saws etc.
scredriver set i woudlnt buy, i have one, the large star doesnt grip shit, rachet spanners i have are to big and clumsey for alot of tight spaces.
dont get me wrong on the whole the stuff is excellent and its handy with no interest on paying the stuff off.
i def wont go for a box from snap on tho, i have a draper expert roll cab and top box. its grand and about 5 odd years old now qith absolutely no hassles. theres a fitter in work with a snapon box at 3k. absolutely crazy
i would stay well away from the likes of machine mart etc buy branded tools. snap on, mac, draper expert, halfords, teng. sealeys tools id stay away from also unless air tools as imo there nothing spec

Stevie, do u work in the car trade? You say air tools aint nothing special, but on hgvs, where ure talking big torques, id say they are kinda sepcial, some of the guys at work had cheap stuff, they dont compare to the power of my snap on and mac ones, and they fall apart after a year or so.
The most handy tool i bought recently is a bluepoint electric 3/8" windy gun, i probably use it everday, and 2 or 3 times a day.
