Just been to look at it. Stereo is gone, pretty much nothing left of the ignition, door is bent to fuck, car is leaning so im guessing steering rack and its been put into a ditch.
I'd feel so much happier if they'd died in it!

The statuary call out fee is set by the police force not the recovery company, when i went through the same with an old car of mine, i asked how the recovery fee was so high when my car was found a few metres from their recovery depot. they told me the police set the fee for the callout and if i wanted to take it up with someone it would be the police not them.because the guy even told me if i had called them it would of cost about £40-60 callout charge and £20 for a nights storage. Not £120
So it does seem that the police forces are comitting daylight robbery

As far as im aware they take a slice off it yes.and i just googled it and they do charge for calling a recovery firm.
So the police make money from other peoples misfortune...nice.
