SLIGHT?!

I'd say that's a pretty major fuck up as they go.

and people wonder why tax bills are high?? the police have reasonabe grounds to question (read arrest) anyone on the basis of evidence found at crime scene ( in this case an old fingerprint). the police need to interview on tape and pursue all leads. this is to solve the crime / eliminate false leads / evidence.

you will not receive anything for wrongful arrest etc as the detention wa lawful. it may take police 15 mins or 15 hrs to obtain confirmation of alibis etc etc. its not nice, but at least police are doing something about this crime, and actively loking for suspects.

However in this case, they wasted money, which was a fail.

Of course if Chris' prints were not on record it wouldn't have happened.

im sure there would have been many trusting alibis in this case.

the shop owner saying he did work there but not for 7 years, parents or friends as to his whereabouts at the time in question.

im assuming he has clean history? which again could all be used to safely question him for many days if need be without detention

That's what I thought when he was telling me.

A slight error is pronouncing his name wrong, not saying you have proof that someone has commited rape when you haven't

You fud, ah well you can't really complain then tbh your prints on file for acting the goat in the first place you'd look daft if you tried to make a big deal out of it.
