Aye the SB-800 is quality, used to have a crappy cheap jessops one. This is miles better.

I'd like to get into shooting in film.

Go Medium Format, you'll never ever go back to 35mm film again I swear to you.

I've got 2 Mamiya 645 1000s bodies with various prisms and lenses - its the dogs bollocks for travel and landscape, portrait stuff is amazing too.

Ebay usually has some half decent Medium Format stuff - I recommend the RZ67 though over everything, its a real pro's choice, though they are still expensive now coz most pro photographers shooting studio work use them.
