My 306 is now 100% SOLD Picked up in the next 2 weeks so have some cash to play with and look for another car

I have found a nice white R5GTT mint with a clio 16v engine conversion so no fires will be starting under the bonnet ect

i have also come across a nice looking track/road 1.9GTI 205 widebody with bucket seats cage ect

R5GTT in question,

205GTI in question,

What do you's think?

I like the R5 (apart from the wheels) but I don't like the 205.

IF i was to go for the 205 i would be taking all the stickers off and the front mesh with some new mesh and also will be going a tad lower and get the wheels done white

R5 will be staying the same apart from wheels going black and maybe a cage the r5 comes with the wheels you see in the pictures and standard wheels aswell.

I love R5GTT's, but I wouldn't bother if it didn't have the original 1.4 Turbo. Just not the same.

The 205 for the fact that the r5 doesnt have the original engine. Close though.

I love my renaults so im gonna say R5. Specially cus its in white (best colour) with the origonal graphics. I would get rid of the wheels though and go for some clio 16v turbines.

Quite like the 205 but for me it would have to be more standard looking.

Also i know someone selling a re-built 5 turbo engine if you wanna put it back to origonal

Wouldn't touch either of them.

I have an R5 so i'm not neutral but I think I saw that particular R5 the other day and it had 13 previous owners? And reliable or not, its not a Renault 5 GT Turbo is it...its just a Renault 5 GT. If you put two standard ones beside each other I wouldn't know which one to choose as they're both loads of fun.

think its the f7p engine in the r5(1.8),thats the engine usually referrred to as clio 16v,otherwise the f7r are more commonly known as williams engines.

i dont like the 205 but might with wider wheels but 5 turbo should be what it says on the tin IMO
