I'm going to cocoon @the warehouse project on the 9th of November. It's at the picadilly arches apparently. I'm thinking a train will be the best bet, but if i decide to drive, is there anywhere near that I could leave my car over night ?(preferably for free or cheap) Don't know Manchester at all so trying to weigh it up.

Yeah your right mate it's at the Picadily Arches. Had a few mates go down this weekend & they got the train which seems the best bet...

Street parking is free after 6pm on weekdays, until 8am in the morning. But if you put £2 in after 6pm it will give you a ticket from 8-10am in the morning if you need that much.

Other than that parking will cost you atleast a £5 for that amount of time, probably a little more. Plenty of NCP carparks around though.

Ive been parking in Manchester (overnight) for years now and not had any problems - both in car parks and on the street. Just make sure its a decent lit area and you're not stupid leaving anything people might want to nick on show.

I left my car overnight there lots of times and nothing ever happened to it. Even the dodgy looking NCP behind the old BT building near Piccadilly train station. Plenty of hookers, but no car crime.
