My bonnet wouldnt open when I tried releasing it and I couldnt figure out why and got abit pissed off n ended up snappin the lever under the dash lol. I can open it still but its a bitch to do. Any ideas what I can do to sort it?

Yeah Im gonna giv it a gud old lubin. Still dont know wat to do about the release lever under the dash.

Well the whole thing needs sortin really. Its made a crazy little dent too on the bonnet where the catch is

bloody hate that feelin i get it loads 
mine was bein a bitch a while ago too, just didnt release when i pulled the handle, so i done this.....
under the bonnet, just along from the catch in the crash bar thing (to the right)... theres a little screw and bracket thing holding the bonnet release cable cover, i unscrewed that abit, pulled the cable and cover through a little (away from the catch) and tightened it back up. then it worked fine again. dont know if it will work with yours. but its an idea lol.
