Got sent this picture earlier today and its annoying me. Load of new Impreza's on a transporter, but how the hell have they got the cars onto the transported upside down? Must be some kind of special turning platform. But even if they got the bottom ones on first and turned it over, how would they get the top ones on? Because the platform wouldn't go low enough to drive them up the ramp



Can anyone shed any light?

take the ones off the top and the bit its attached to swivles round then they will be the right way up

Or they fix the ones on underneath, put them on the trailer, then the ones on top are placed on with a crane?

How will get them off the other end though when they get to the dealers? Or are these destined to live there lives on this lorry?

Because there's only one (at most a couple) of those trucks touring the UK to promote the cars. Says Subaglue on the cab.

They did a similar thing with 106 GTI's......on every single B road in the country

Think I might have to buy one of the upside down ones.

Insurance would be really cheap, no-one would be able to steel it!

It would fill the wrong side of the engine up with oil which would make it a bit smokey for a bit

Thats fine, you get smoke after piston 3 melts anyway.
