What manifold are you going to use? One of Beardy's ones? Pondering a change of manifold on my engine. Just sorted a head for the rebuild.

I have been trying to decide +1mm or +2mm but i just cannot justify the extra cost of the +2mm valves and the additional work. I feel where my car is at now is very much the limit for a fwd car in usable power terms (if not past it) and i would not see any additional performance in the current chassis.

the gains are so minimal its not worth it though. even over std valve size, there isnt really a massive gain in fitting 1mm valves really.

on another note, i now have some vernier cam pulleys, which ive needed for ages. again, thanks to dave for sorting them out
