when i went to york on the train i stayed in travel inn coz it was right next to the train station

Even the travel lodge is expensive TBH

A hotel in the town centre seems to be less than a shitty travelodge

Forgot to mention the Quality Hotel in York is also worth considering

Thats the one i was intending to go to, although looked last night on some website and it said it was £76 per person per night.

Looked direct on the site and its now saying £86 total

We're staying there on Saturday night and it's £130 per room booked through Laterooms
