windows couldn't start as a file of system 32 is missing...

im now using my laptop.. i guess I need to d an xp disc??

1.Insert and boot from your WindowsXP CD.

LOL, haven't you got a windows CD at all with your comp?
If not I suggest doing a search on a torrent site for "windows xp OEM" and copy it to disk. (Not that I condone piracy or anything. :lol

Maybe one of your mates could copy it for you? Or you can pick a copy up off ebay and then you don't have to worry about searching for cracked CD keys and that.

Or an even cheaper option is that you could try and find the file/s that are missing and download them. But this might be a bit difficult as you said you can't get on PC.

He shouldn't need to worry about serial keys and cracking if he's just going to do a repair. He'd only need those if he formatted and did a fresh install.

Best option is to get a mate to do it for you, otherwise, if you're totally stuck, I can post you a copy, Jas.

I have vista on my laptop and I cant really get my head around it lol.. not a fan
