well i work in networking and when im on call of an evening i get £12 before 12 for a call and £25 after 12

People that work for us get £33 after 12, and £18 during social hours

When i used to be on an IT helpdesk we got...

£25 per weekday. Time was charged at x1.5 of hourly wage rate.

£50 per weekend day. Time was charged at x2 of hourly wage rate.

So basically, you've get £225 + however many hours u'd do. I'd make sure i'd get minimum 30min for really easy calls, and if it lasted 31 min or more, i'd charge for 1 hour.

Bad thing was, i changed roles, got a wage rise, but worked out im actually £300-£400+ per month down on what i used to get. But no hassle and your life back....

i get:
3 hours pay per day weekdays for standby
3 hours pay x1.5 weekends for standby
6 hours pay if i actually get called out
