I got a few quotes a little while ago from there and to insure a 1.4 sport it was coming up around 1500 which i was happy with. i got a quote last night and it was saying just over 2000! Whats going on i hope there was a mistake somehwere or have their prices gone up?
Cheers

They are abit funny, the quick quote brings up a reasonable price, but when you go all the way through, it says they won't insure you.

dont get me started on Quinn.... worst insurance company ever. The problem that dan_c4rsa had with them is rather a common one it seems. They camcelled my insurance and left it 4 days to tell me. and for the 4 days I was driving uninsured. The reason they cancelled my policy? there wasnt one, they just decided to and after an investigation by the insurance ombudsman they decided to reinstate it by which time I had gone elsewhere. theres a website about them somewhere full of similar horror stories about them.

so, 1 post about quinn direct with only 7 replies.

3 of the replies are from people that have had their policies cancelled for no reason without warning.

seems to be a pattern here

I'm insured with quinn, i was going to get a new car, went on to my account to change the policy and it was a rediculous price (i pay 500 quid atm, and they wanted 1500 for a 1.6), i thought it must be wrong, so went through the whol thing with the right names and stuff, and it came up they'd insure me on my car for £758 ?? They must have raised prices or something gay !

every year insurance prices go up anyway for some reason cant remember why

but yeh quinn have really pissed me off.

Theyve rung me up saying sorry sir even though we've quoted you with the 2 litre and youve payed, your not actually allowed to have a modified 'high performance' car until your 21 with us.

18.........21.........18.......21.... whoever did my quote must of done something VERY wrong if 21 limit's in their system.

Rang me up again today saying that i have 4 days to find another insurer. Im getting my money back but is a kick in the balls.

Quite pleased as ive found an insurance ocmpany i have to ring back thursday that will quote me around 2200 for the valver.
