out of intrest what other car do they share the gearbox with?

how much are they new?

any ideas where to get one?

get a re-cond one, just as good, cheaper too

VTS box is the same all saxo and 106 boxes fit each other

£1000 (ish) new from citreon when i last asked

Scrapyard or french car breakers are the best place get them

vts and 106 gti are the same...

But u can use a rally gearbox

All cit/pug sports boxes use the same ratios, only the final drive is different.

Tallest of them is the VTS/Gti, then the S2 106 Rallye/ 1.6xsi, then the 1.4xsi and shortest and most sought after is the S1 106 Rallye box with a 4.54 FD.

On the sporty Pug models yes.

The VTR uses different ratios from the VTS & sporty Pugs.

my mate has a 1.6 8v engine out of a Paxo with a Gearbox on, he will not split.

just look for a gti or vts box, they're not expensive.
