Can anyone advise what insurers currently offer No Claims Bonus for named drivers on a policy please?

Direct Line do it I think, but the NCB that you build up as a named driver can only be used with them I believe

you are spot on- best way is to start early and get your own policy

such a crap system, dunno how my GF is supposed to build up a NCB when she has been on my policy for 2 years, no way can she afford £700 compared to the 50/50 split we do atm, £200

Yeah it's a load of rubbish I agree. I looked at doing it when I statred off but just thought it was cheaper in the long run to just go on my own policy.

I drive a company car day in day out.
Lauren wants a new car, and we have found one albeit its a group 17.
her current insurer wont touch her, so I was going to insure it and she was going to be on the policy and we can both earn NCB for a 50/50 split on paying the premium.
She can keep her individual policy until next march when it expires, sells her current car and the new joint car can be her everyday hack.

She should just cancel herf insurance when she sells it - take the hit on getting the NCB for this year and start a fresh
Your way could lead to complications in the way that you may be stuck with direct line who are not the cheapest

everybody dishes elephant but I was with them with my corsa and TT and never had issues
They even paid out for crash which was my fault in the corsa without a valid MOT (which i am not proud of)

Elephant paid my brother out relatively quickly for a write off and were good to deal with for the most part.
I am with Bell (same company) and have had no issues so far although haven't had to make a claim.
