Think its 56mph or 57, my best mates dad drives them all day every day!
i have heard that no lorry is limited, it is purely the company's that set limters to reduce fuel costs. i know that sounds stupid but its what i've heard. and given the experience i've had make some sense given no two lorries seem to have the same limit. i was in 53 in Britvic wagons, i'm sure its 56 in Pickfords (iv worked everywhere! lol) and i wouldnt be surprised if its still faster and slower for other egs!
EDIT: pls note i never drove lorries myself, but worked as a driver's mate (through agency) for many delievery company's. all through summer 06 i was in a lorry cab for someone - typically a change of company every other day!

Lorry overtaking a lorry up a hill.
Thinking process goes like this
Lorry Driver Behind - "OOOoo look im gaining on the lorry infront" *in his slipstream*
Lorry Driver Behind "Im gunna whack my indicator on and pull into the middle lane which is moving at 80mph and overtake up this rather large hill"
Lorry Driver infront sees him pull out
Lorry Driver infront "I dont think so mate, im putting my foot through the carpet"
They sit side by side for a while till the fornt one gives in and flashes him in (normally blinding everyother motorist on the motorway) 1cm infront of his bumper.
Then the same happens all again when the one behind now gets in a slipstream.
Tesco lorry drivers are the slowest lorry drivers ever. I dont blame a lorry driver for overtaking one

Im pretty sure every lorry is limited, companys can set them lower though I think
My dad co runs a farm/haulage with his brother and have three lorries. Limiter is set to 56 on my dads one, unsure about the other two.
The britvic lorry mentioned earlier, I doubt it was an artic which is probably why it was at 53 as it is a smaller less powerful lorry. Ours are all artics
