my mates just bought one its got the mg 1275cc engine in, hes plainin to strip everyin out from inside fit 2 buckets and nos for 1/4 mile and webbers

its not as clean as that like but its clean for a 22 year old car

lovely, i have my dads cooper to do shortly, have it all stripped for more or less every bloody panel. will have a thread on projects when i start the metal work

we were lookin in the mini magas and any parts he replaces are gettin replaced by fibre glass pannels as there so cheap

To be fair, genuine BMC metal panels are cheap too.

I remember pricing up a floor for mine (not that it needed it) and it was about £36 for the 4 panels

i know but now matter how many new panel u replace in a yrs time they Will be rusty simple as.

this way hes saving weight for the 1/4 and he doesnt have to worry about rust
