They did, sort of.
After Webber had an accident in qualifying on the Thursday (and probably blamed someone else), the mechanics rebuilt the car, changed the rear suspension geometry and settings, then went out in the warm up session and ended up sliding down the road on his roof down the Mulsanne straight.
The other 2 cars were adjusted more, then let out to race again, Dumbreck had his little off and the other car (Bernd Schneider and co) was withdrawn from the race.
Obviously their little tweaks here and there didn't do anything

it needed a big fuck of tweak, like about 50kg in the front

Well, I guess that's what happens when you make a car in the shape of an aerofoil really

Aren't aerofoils flat on the bottom and curved on the top?

Yes they are. Why do you ask? Doubting yourself?

Aerofoil can be any shape so long as they give lift. Flat bottom and curved top is a high-lift type known as a Clark-y section.
Sports planes (such as lose in the Red-Bull air race) have semi or semi-symetrical sections
Can you tell I copied and pasted

Yeah the problem was a complete lack of consideration to the under car air flow, so as soon as the front end raised a lil it acted like a wing and sent the whole car skyward.
