Kathryn W that sounds really barbaric using biro lids!  Next time soak your hand or whatever in warm water to open your pores and uses tweezers

Ive had it with part of one I couldnt get out (well, thought I got it all but obviously didnt!)
Hurt like hell for a bit but then stopped after a few days. I wasnt scared though as new all the science behind it and told this Jill...hence she knew what to post up here
