Perhaps she realises they have their bad times and really wants some stability for the sake of the child so has pretended, nay fantasised that she is married and everything is OK.
Just a bit of wishful thinking from a realist I would have said. If they're staying together for the child there's no reason why you can't also tell people on Facebook that it's better than it actually is.
