1.6 sport engine, with inlet manifold, bmc cda induction kit, 4-2-1 manifold, decat, boost valve, and superchipped ecu?

8 second 0-60 with 115bhp? No chance.

My 1.4 had that and was nowhere near that quick, even with no interior.

Oh yeah, i read the 3rd reply down after reading the poster doh.....

Robin, mine was datron timed at 9.55 0-60 with 95bhp on the 1.4. Gearbox is close ratio'd and with an increased rev limit, its easily possible... Can't comment on your car.

Corsa Vs Saxo day times proved this. Lukes Turbo ran a 7.5 odd and he himself said he couldn't launch for toffee..

There's quite a large difference between 9.55 and 8 dead though, I'm not sure what you're getting at?

Not really there isn't..... I've i've knocked that off fromt he book time with no mods, then knocking 1.5 off with around 30hp more can be done.

But this isn't what this post is about Robin.....

Citroen AX GT's managed nearly 8 seconds with 100bhp

book time will no doutb be an average an therefore its quite possible to fluke a better time with no mods
