Have a friend in the U.S who bought an amp from these people for £1500 back in August, he hasn't had anything and can't get in contact from them. He thinks it could be a scammer  This is the address below, can anyone confirm if this place exists? Have you heard of them?

hmm, no such company registered at companies house!!
if there dealing with overseas tax it would surely have to be VAT registered also meaning a 100% legit company and registered.

Done a few checks this morning.
As far as i've been able to find out, George Road is possibly an unofficial alias for Barclay Road. I've sent an email off to our address team to query it and to make other suggestions.
I've checked 141 Barclay Road, just in case and we've not got any names for people living there. However, the electoral roll does have someone registered at 141 Barclay Road, but i'm unable to see the name of the person there. Check on 192.com, by searching for 141 Barclay Road. It might need you to register or pay a fee, but could be worth it. Its currently registered to a business name of Village Gardens and Landscapes, but until we get confirmation of whether Barclay Road/George Road are the same thing, it doesn't really help one way or the other.
As soon as I hear anything back anyway, i'll let you know, but its not looking good. I had a look at the payment screen though, and its obviously a bit dodgy, as it says "due to payment processing problems", when it doesn't ask you for any payment details.

I used to live in walthamstow for 21 years and have never heard of them or that road. i even jsut typed the post code into mapquest and know 1005 there isnt a george road where that post code shows on there!
