I did my 1st ever GNR, got a 2:18 which was Ok as I hate running and find it very hard. Planned to run a 2:30 and was on just over 2 0 at the halfway point but the sun came out and it went from 8 to 15 degrees, plus I was a lot more tired by half way.
Roll on 2008 - just make sure I train more lol, this took me a year of going to the gym and 3 months of running to do this one. Lost just under 2 stone too and gained a lot of mussell!

1:47 is a very good time
feel fine today but feet are bruised
only problem with it is that we were 35000 odd places back so impossible to keep speed up
