I'm too indecisive. Really need some feedback on the sort of cars i am looking at. Looking for a minimum of 1.4 and anything up to 1.8. Got around 4k to play with but don't have to spend that much.
Thankies

Doubt you'd get a Lupo for 4K..
Here's a few astra's for the money..

get something fun tom, and narrow your bloody choices down:
corsa c sri - be borring imo
polo gti - not a proper gti iirc? (I get that from owners, i havent driven one)
Corsa sport - you've done the corsa thing
pug 206 - its a 206/girls car/borring?
zectec - alright
106 gti - suppose to be alot of fun, tuning potential etc

Peugeot 206...good little car for the money, like a 106 but a bit bigger !
Fiesta Zetec S...good in standard form, easy to tune and dont really have a bad image
Corsa Sport...no comment
Polo Gti or 1.4...good vag car, will get you into the world of properly built cars at a budget. polo gti is a good choise but for 4k it wont be low millage or cared for, add another grand and you will get a minter !
106 gti...lots of fun,but thats about all its good for ! buy a spare box and have a few thrust bearings spare !
Corsa C Sri...sensible, very sensible. you need the 1.8 to really enjoy the car as the 1.4 doesnt do a great deal.
Other...please state...?covered most the good'uns tbh

106 GTi or Polo GTi are the only cars worth considering as you get more for your money with them.
If it were me, i'd get the Polo GTi, 125 bhp easy on insurance and look great out of the box. Spec is also impressive Nice seats, climate and split BBS alloys as standard.
