i agree muppet,
the ones with the rear beams and not the IRS such as the hatchbacks and a few of the low spec saloons can be made to handle really well.
my mate has had 5 different Cavaliers, all with XE's or LET's and they have all been an absolute Hoot to drive in one way or another, half the reason i bought the Calibra as all it is really is a Cavalier
