Is there a quick and easy way of doing this. Got new clocks with 90k on them and want to wind them back to 58k (as thats the actually mileage on my car).

take them apart and you will find a cog that you can wind back and the miles go back slowely- get a drill on it and watch them go back

its 2 things

the numbers dont sit straight
and itll eventualy bugger the vehicle speed sensor


ive done about 5 sets and eventually they all have failed in 1 way or the other, so i dont bother now

i changed mine, carefully took out the little cogs and manually set the mileage, put it all back together, and they have never worked since!! ah well, digi dash tomorra so fuck it

i only wanted the mileage to be right, and actually brought it up! the clocks i got out the tigra were 10000 downon what they should have been to suit my car.
