Hiya
Right.....basically at home we have a telephone line but thats my Dads works one.....myself and my brother have been using that for our internet on the laptop but most sites are restricted (due to using the business line) So we went to get our own telephone line so we can use things like facebook, myspace, betfair and such like which are restricted at the mo.

So what i want to know is where do i start?? Do i need to ring BT or something? Is there a set amount a month i wud need to pay? I only need it for the net so is there anything just for the internet?

Sorry for the random post lol

ring BT and tell them you want a second line, they'll tell you whats best and prices.

Also....why are they restricted?!!

I think because the phone line we are using is my dads works line......would that cause it to be restricted?? At work (same company) those sites are barred

the sites are usually barred due to the settings those companies setup themselves, not the actual phoneline.

If it was Im sure you could get BT to lift them anyway to avoid needing a new line.
