my younger brother has a k reg corsa b and the paint is faded on it, its frost blue and he wants to colour code the bumpers and the arches but he thinks it will makethe car look worse because some of the panels and faded slightly has anybody got any advice on what will bring the colour back before he paints the trim

a good bodyshop should be able to match the colour, or blow the panels into adjacent panels so you cant make out the mismatch,

either that or respray the whole car

people say t-cut and other paint restoring polishes are they no good m8

you wont be able to restore its colour with tcut if its metallic

You can get metalic t-cut though

I could never get the paint right on my 106 even with t-cut and then a polish and wax. Was metalic perlecent paint though.

andrew, even if you use metallic t cut you wont restore the colour if its faded as metallic is laquered you wont actually be touching the colour
