so project 'reshell my corsa' was started this morning by taking the engine out the old corsa and so far looks like this....





When the engine was removed, the underside of the chassis fell to bits on the driveway, mmm tasty, actually scares the crap out of me to think i've been driving it like this.

Will put a proper thread up in projects section when it's done of all the work start to finish in more detail, just thought the state of this shell deserved its own thread!

Already got a new shell mate, i've no idea how it passed the mot like that to be honest, my mate rekons if i'd of crashed it on the front end driver side, i'd of ended up with the engine on my lap

there is something seriously dodgy about the mot tester that was looking (or not looking) at that car last.

the corrosion on that must have been in a similar condition to that for the last year at least

The last time it was mot'd was actually by the previous owner who lives up by yorkshire so err, unless you wanna contact him and take your car up there for an mot hehe.
