easy enough to do?
considering the one in classifieds as the shell is mint but cant insure it as a 2litre and want it to be legit.
or is it just a silly idea and i should wait for a clean sri to come up?

easy enough, just un-bolt engine, and fit different one..
if it's log booked as a 2.0, you'll need to get it changed up you'll need proof as your dropping tax brackets etc etc

what about the looms? will be a 1.6 8v id change it to?

as long as your have engine loom for engine, just wire it in like you would.
being 8v im gussing nova engine, that would need lenghening to reach footwell where the wire's are in the corsa
