should i go and knock on the house and ask if they would like to sell it?

or is that just plain rude/cheeky?

Saying that. When I moved in a never spoke to one of my neighbours before, and his quiksilver was everything I was looking for at the time. He also had a Seat LCR at the time which was really nice. I told him I liked them and asked him whos the Quiksilver was as id never seen it driven. He told me it was his old car and he was planning on selling it but hasnt had the time, he only said 1500 which was about a grand under the normal selling price Shame I crashed it!
