Right people, wanna remove my bump strips on my doors....

What like of a job is this, is it a nightmare??

I have the funny feeling it has been sprayed over therefore would leave me to believe there will be a step in the laquer, hmmm can't decide whether it'll be noticable

It will be noticeable, only thing you can do is take them off extra carefull, then if it is noticeable, can put them back on.

Mine is the same as yours mate, one side looks top notch... But the other has a little step.
It's easy, just get a hair dryer, set it on hot and heat the glue whilst peeling off!

With some elbow grease and a good polish you can get it looking good.. but not excellent.
