Friend of mine had an evo 4 for a couple of years. He never had any trouble compared to his brothers scooby.

I want an evo 6 myself

The interior of a GTSt is not as nice as the GTR

yup... a 33GTSt is no EVO.... VERY VERY VERY different cars.

Loads of shite being spewed about EVO's in this thread too.
EVO's dont cost a lot to run IF you look after it. It is a performance car, which to me suggests it needs regular and good maintanace. People need to approach these cars (Skyline, EVO, Impreza's etc) with there eyes wide open. You cant just buy a cheap one, treat it like a fiesta and expect it to keep running well.

i understand that

you buy a performance car, you pay performace costs to keep it in good condition

i get this in work, you get a guy who has a 30k+ bmw yet he whinges about £20 on oil that it needs

I agree Adam, there is plenty of bull shit on this thread Evo 3's aren't expensive. Evo's aren't dodgy, not that expensive to run (well I don't think so anyway). If the clutch goes then your looking at £1k+ this is all normal for a high performance car, we're not talking Astra Turbos here. Evo 6 is a nice car, 7 onwards really is a better car though. 2nd set of pics, here's my old Tommi Makinen
